Atome rises as the most popular BNPL option in SG

In Asia, the platform ranked second most popular behind Klarna.

The most popular Buy Now, Pay Later option amongst Singaporeans is Atome, data from Merchant Machine showed.

According to the website, Atome is also the most popular BNPL option in other Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

In Asia, the platform rose as the second most popular BNPL option with a 20.36% market share, behind Klarna (23.75%).

Meanwhile, the Singapore-based payment processing platform Stripe has become one of the most preferred payment methods globally.

Stripe ranked 9th as the most popular payment method globally, with a market share of 3.89%.

Stripe, however, wasn’t the most preferred payment option in Singapore but ranked first in Somalia.

In Singapore, PayPal ranked first amongst all payment options.
