Nanyang Business School unveils Singapore’s largest finance lab
Platform-based learning is in the spotlight.
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) today launched the 165-square meter Centre for Applied Financial Education, the largest finance lab in Singapore.
The new lab at Nanyang Business School is equipped with top data analysis tools, such as Bloomberg Professional and Thomson Reuters’ Eikon and Datastream.
It has 60 dedicated Thomson Reuters Eikon terminals with Datastream, along with 24 Bloomberg terminals that will allow business school students to access all kinds of real-time financial, economic and business news information.
The Centre uses a platform-based learning environment, which prepares students entering the banking and finance sector to be industry-ready by allowing them to perform market analytics and generate insights for decision making on Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters terminals.
