Friends Provident International appoints Ian Black as regional sales manager

Mr. Black will take over from David Scammell in Singapore.

In a release, Friends Provident International announced that Ian Black has joined FPI's Singapore branch as regional sales manager, South East Asia reporting to Chris Gill, the general manager, South East Asia who is also the Principal Officer of the Singapore branch. Ian will take over from David Scammell in Singapore. Both Ian Black and Matthew White will be the key point of contacts for expatriate business partners in the region.

Ian has extensive experience working in the financial services industry in the business to business sector and personal financial planning industry in the UK. Prior to joining FPI, Ian held the position of business development manager with specific focus on Investments and Trusts with Zurich Intermediary Group in the UK. He worked for Berkeley Berry Birch and Prudential UK ntermediaries and Scottish Amicable before joining Zurich.

Ian holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning offered by The Chartered Insurance Institute.
