Hotel Fort Canning reveals pop-up restaurant

It specializes in Cantonese cuisine.

According to the release, festive dining can take place at The Glass House, where popular “lo-hei” Yu Sheng is served alongside favourites such as succulent Fried Mee Siam with succulent Boston Lobster, one of Executive Chef’s signature dishes.

Specializing in Cantonese cuisine, the new “pop-up” restaurant - The Jasmine Room is located atop lush canopies which feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, with spectacular views of the verdant Fort Canning Park.

The new “pop-up” restaurant has been remodelled to provide guests with an opulent and oriental setting to enjoy auspicious and scrumptious Cantonese dishes.

The Lunar New Year celebration menus are available for tables of four to 10, feature symbolic and auspicious dishes that are well-loved for celebration such as: – Prosperity Yu Sheng, for renewal of life and abundance.

Pot of Wealth ‘Peng Cai’, for continuity and good fortune; Golden Wasabi Prawns, for vitality and happiness; Braised Sea Cucumber with Fried Golden Oysters & Flower Mushroom for easy and quick success, Braised Whole Abalone for assurance of surplus, and many more.

Whether it is a family reunion, celebrations with friends, or business gatherings, The Jasmine Room can certainly cater to all guests’ festive needs!

Modern Asian Alternative at The Glass House
Fried Mee Siam with Boston Lobster, The Glass House Curry Chicken and Laksa Spaghetti are some of the ever popular Asian-inspired twists on the classics.

Guests can order from an a la carte menu and celebrate the auspicious occasion with delicious and colorful Prosperity Yu Sheng and Pot of Wealth Peng Cai. Both delicacies are available for dine-in and take-away from 26 January to 24 February 2013.
