Singapore launches first-ever event concierge

TicketCube is the only platform in Singapore that aggregates four local ticketing service providers – ApeSnap, Gatecrash, SISTIC and TicketBooth.

According to a release, this gives consumers access to a multitude of shows under one roof. To assist customers with their selection, specially trained concierge officers are on hand to offer quality information and recommendations on the various arts and entertainment shows in the market. For the convenience of locals and visitors, TicketCube is strategically located in the heart of Orchard Road between Ngee Ann City and Wisma Atria.

“Our arts and entertainment landscape has grown exponentially over the last few years. Today, both visitors and Singaporeans are spoilt for choice with the breadth and depth of arts and entertainment offerings available; ranging from homegrown theatre acts and blockbuster musicals to indie music showcases to visual arts exhibitions and more,” says Aw Kah Peng, Chief Executive of STB.

“Through TicketCube, we hope to get visitors and Singaporeans excited about our vibrant events calendar and over time, cultivate a stronger appetite for arts and entertainment,” Ms Aw adds.

TicketCube also offers an array of publicity channels such as outdoor LED panels, indoor LCD screens and collateral display opportunities to arts companies, museums and show presenters. Industry partners can apply for these promotional opportunities at [email protected] , subject to eligibility and availability. “Increasing visibility, awareness and access to arts events in Singapore are part of the National Arts Council (NAC)‟s priorities,” says Benson Puah, Chief Executive Officer of the NAC.

“With over 30,000 arts events a year now in Singapore,” he adds, “it is very useful to have more avenues to promote what‟s happening and make buying tickets even more convenient. We are thus delighted that STB‟s TicketCube offers an additional touch point”, Mr Puah says, “in such a prominent location for artists and arts groups to reach out to their audiences.”
