Visitor arrivals dip for 2nd straight month in September

Total visitor arrivals from January to September rose by 171% YoY to 10.14 million.

The number of visitor arrivals in September declined to 1.13 million, falling for the second consecutive month, data from the Singapore Tourism Board showed.

Despite the decline, the visitor arrivals are still 44.6% higher than in the same period last year at around 782,220.

From January to September, visitor arrivals surged by 171% year-on-year (YoY) to reach 10.14 million visitors.

Singapore also recorded 7.70 million overnight visitors in the first nine months of 2023, increasing by 182.3% YoY.

The average length of stay was at 3.89 days, down by 31.1% YoY, whilst visitor days were at 39.41 million, up by 86.7%.
