GrabAds launch Marketing Manager for SMEs

Merchants can tailor budgets and set who can see their campaigns.

Singapore superapp Grab’s advertising arm GrabAds has launched Marketing Manager, a web-based marketing platform that aims to enable small and medium-sized businesses to expand their marketing campaigns.

With Marketing Manager, merchants will be able to get a full view of their campaigns, tailor budgets, and get real-time detailed reports.

Merchants will now concurrently run campaigns for all their stories, and also schedule when their ads will run. They can now also cap on the number of times their ads can be shown to a user in a day.

Merchants can also precisely configure which audience segments are targeted with their ads, whether by demographic, food choices, visits to places of interest, types of Grab services used , and more.

A 2021 study by Tech for Good Institute found that eight in ten digitally enabled micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Southeast Asia were able to reach more customers through digital platforms.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
