SG leads APAC in AI readiness

It scored 70.1 in Salesforce’s APAC AI Readiness Index.

Singapore is the most AI-ready amongst economies in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, according to the third edition of Salesforce’s AI Readiness Index.

Based on the index, Singapore outpaced all APAC markets in overall, business, and government AI readiness, scoring 70.1, 53.6, and 86.5, respectively.

Singapore’s score also improved since 2021 (65.6), when it also ranked first.

Salesforce said Singapore owes its high scores to its conducive policy and business environment shaped by the country's AI-related initiatives.

Joining Singapore in the top three are Japan, which had a 59.8 score and China, with 59.7.
