In total, 1.1 million cheques were mailed out in a nationwide exercise to any licensee who had paid his 2011 RTV licence fee in advance, prior to the abolition of the RTV licence.
According to the Media Development Authority, 70% of licensees have already enchased/presented their cheques.
The MDA has completed the refund exercise ahead of its 30 April 2011 target.
