mm2 Asia seeks 90-day extension for FY2025 AGM
The delay is due to pending audit work.
mm2 Asia Ltd. has applied to the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) for a further 90-day extension to meet its FY2025 reporting deadlines.
The company is requesting approval to hold its annual general meeting (AGM) by 27 January 2026 instead of 29 October 2025, to issue its annual report by 12 January 2026 instead of 14 October 2025, and to release its sustainability report by 12 January 2026 instead of 14 October 2025.
mm2 Asia said the delay is due to pending audit work. The auditors have agreed to start once outstanding invoices are progressively repaid.
In addition, the liquidation of subsidiaries Cathay Cineplexes Pte. Ltd., MM2 Star Screen Sdn. Bhd., and mm2 Screen Management Sdn. Bhd. has created complex accounting issues, including impairment reviews and provision recognition.
The company also applied to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) for a 60-day extension to hold its AGM by 28 December 2025 and file its annual return by 28 January 2026.
It plans to seek another 30-day extension to push these deadlines to 27 January 2026 and 27 February 2026, respectively
