No change in CPF interest rates for Q2 – HDB

Current interest rates will remain until 30 June.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has retained the current interest rates for CPF savings until 30 June.

In an announcement, HDB said the interest rate floor for Ordinary Account (OA) and Special and MediSave Account (4%), will remain at 2.5% and 4%, respectively.

This means that CPF members below 55  will continue to earn interest rates of up to 3.5% per annum on their OA savings and up to 5% per annum on their SMA savings.

“These interest rates include an extra 1% interest paid on the first $60,000 of a member’s combined balances,” the HDB said.

Meanwhile, CPF members aged 55 and above will continue to earn up to 6% interest per year on their retirement balances.
