Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 0.8%
DBS led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 1.2% climb.
The Straits Times Index ended 24.69 or 0.8% lower at 3,106.52.
The top active stocks were DBS, which jumped 1.2%, Singtel, which increased 0.64%, UOB, which rose 0.73%, OCBC which climbed 0.76%, and YZJ Shipbuilding, which remained unchanged.
The FTSE MidCap rose 1.54% whilst the FTSE Small Cap inched up 0.07%.
