M1 fibre services down in select areas

Some parts of western, central and eastern Singapore experienced disruptions.

M1 fibre customers in some parts in western, central, and eastern Singapore have experienced technical difficulties this morning.

Customers flooded their Facebook page with complaints about the interruption, saying that many of them are working from home amidst the circuit breaker.

“Can we have an update please? Many of us are working from home. How long more do you need please?,” one commenter said.

“Yuan Ching is affected. Please fix it ASAP. Thank you,” another quipped.

“I'm stay [sic] in Yishun and affected as well. Please fix it asap! I have [sic] meeting at 9.30am,” another customer added.

As of 11:05am, M1 has acknowledged that “only a specific group of customers” had experienced service disruptions.

“Our engineers are working hard to resolve the issue. We will provide more information as soon as possible,” it said in a Facebook post.
