GIC, Brigade Group to develop IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bangalore

It has earmarked over 3 million square feet of space for the project.

A joint venture between GIC and Indian real estate developer Brigade Group will develop a 3 million square feet IT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Bangalore.

The JV has acquired Brooke Bond Real Estate from Hindustan Unilever to facilitate the project.

The project is located in Whitefield, one of Bangalore’s two major IT hubs. Enjoying a large frontage on
the ITPL Main Road, the site provides natural connectivity to the two IT hubs – Whitefield on one side
and Outer Ring Road on the other.
