Office REITs worst S-REITs last week

Mainly pulled down by CapitaCommercial Trust.

OUE Commercial trust and Keppel REIT booked in increases last week, but CCT was the bad apple that spoiled the bunch.

According to a report by RHB group, on the S-REITs front, the Healthcare REITs were the top performer (+1.9% WoW), mainly driven by First REIT (FIRT) which was up a 2.1% WoW.

On the flip side, the Office REITs were the worst performers, a mere 0.3% WoW increase, mainly pulled down by CapitaCommercial Trust (CCT) (-0.3% WoW), despite OUE Commercial Trust (OUECT) and Keppel REIT (KREIT) booking in 1.3% and 1.2% WoW respectively.

RHB adds that the other segments registered modest movements with Industrial, Retail and Hospitality REITs gathering 1.4%, 1.3%, 1.0% WoW respectively. Mapletree Commercial Trust (MCT) was the best performing – up 3.8% WoW%, while CapitaCommercial Trust (CCT), was the worst performing down 0.3% WoW.
