The office property market in Singapore has been facing a downtrend in rents as it recorded its fifth consecutive quarterly dip this year. More buildings are becoming increasingly vacant as rents weaken. A research by Savills Singapore revealed that vacancy rate for Grade A office space grew 1.1% in 2015. Singapore-based asset manager is shutting down its credit hedge fund as record-low interest rates put a damper on returns.
