Hyflux bags US$50.4m contract in Saudi Arabia
It’s to design, manufacture, and supply a facilities package.
Hyflux has bagged another Saudi Arabia contract, this time worth US$50.4m. According to the company’s media release, the contract was awarded by Snamprogetti Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. (Saipem).
Hyflux is tasked with designing, manufacturing, and supplying a seawater reverse osmosis and sulphate removal facilities package in Khurais, Saudi Arabia.
The contract is to be fulfilled over one year, and is expected to contribute to the Hyflux’s financials for the financial year ending 31 December 2016.
Italian group Saipem is the engineering and construction contractor for the project to expand Khurais Central Processing Facility’s daily production capacity by 300,000 barrels of oil from the current 1,200,000 barrels.
