Singapore Power to roll out over 200 public mobile device charging stations to celebrate SG50

All units will be in place by December.

In celebration of SG50, Singapore Power will launch an island-wide network of charging stations for Singaporeans to charge their mobile devices at no cost.

SP will progressively roll out close to 200 stations in high-traffic locations across the island.

The stations will be located at public healthcare institutions such as Tan Tock Seng Hospital, tertiary institutions such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore Polytechnic; National Library Board and NTUC FairPrice supermarkets.

All the units are expected to be in place by December 2015.
