Singapore banks kickstart pilot use of MyInfo

UOB, OCBC, DBS, and StanChart customers will be the first to benefit.

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and the Ministry of Finance's MyInfo is now being rolled out to Singapore banks, particularly to United Overseas Bank (UOB), DBS Bank, OCBC Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

This is the first time MyInfo's services have been rolled out to the private sector.

According to DBS, MyInfo allows users to fill up online forms by simply pulling information from various government agencies and automatically populating fields with clients’ personal particulars, including personal names, NRIC numbers, and addresses.
