Genting Hong Kong to delist from SGX Mainboard

It wants to focus on its Chinese market.

Genting Hong Kong plans to delist from the SGX's Mainboard.

According to an announcement, Genting Hong Kong wants to focus its core business activities relating to the operation of cruise ships in Asia. It also wants to cater to demands from its Chinese market.

As a result, it wants to increase visibility amongst North Asian investors and maintain its listing in The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKSE).

Genting Hong Kong also said delisting will allow the it to focus on strengthening its cruise ship business.

Moreover, it has not carried out any fundraising activities in Singapore for the last six years.
