Manufacturing Integration Technology names Pow Tien Tee as director

He is a semiconductor industry veteran, who has spent almost 40 years with leading chip maker Infineon Ag and its predecessor Siemens Components.

Manufacturing Integration Technology announced the appointment of Pow Tien Tee as non-executive independent director effective 28 April 2014.

Mr Pow, 70, a semiconductor industry veteran, has spent almost 40 years with leading chip maker Infineon Ag and its predecessor Siemens Components in Asia, especially China. His wide ranging experiences cover the whole gamut of activities from procurement to production and high level strategy formulation. Following his retirement in 2012, he was appointed senior advisor to the Infineon AP Management with special focus on the strategic growth of Infineon Technologies China. Before this, he was a board member and vice president of Infineon AP, and chairman of Infineon China, Infineon Shanghai and Wuxi. In 2009, Mr Pow was conferred Honorable Professor to the Economic Management Faculty, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. He is the author of the book "High Performance Enterprise Management, published by the Xidian University Press in 2013, according to a Manufacturing Integration Technology report.
