3Cnergy appoints Loh Chen Peng as lead independent director

He was also appointed as audit committee chairman.

Mr Loh is also a member of the nominating and remuneration committees.

Mr Loh currently serves as independent non-executive director of two companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, namely Bermaz Auto Berhad and Berjaya Media Berhad.

Mr Loh started his career in year 1975 when he articled with SGV-Kassim Chan, an international firm of chartered accountants, during which he gained membership to the MICPA.

Mr Loh left SGV Kassim Chan in year 1980 and joined Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad, a merchant banking group. During a period of 13 years, he held several senior management positions in the areas of corporate advisory and corporate banking.

In 1994, Mr Loh was involved in establishing Phileo Allied Bank Berhad, a commercial bank and served on its executive committee of directors until year 2001.
Since year 2001, he was involved in several private ventures and served on the boards of several listed companies and banking institutions, as independent non-executive director.
