Find out what's in store.

The ‘Small Business Big Success’ competition will give a Singapore-based business an unprecedented ad audience, the chance to watch Intuit-sponsored Aston Villa play Chelsea, and support to fuel on-going success.

Singapore [January 21] Intuit QuickBooks, the world’s number one online accounting software provider and main sponsor of Aston Villa Football Club, has launched its Small Business Big Success competition. The winner will be the first Singapore-based small-to-medium business (SMB) that has enjoyed Premier League advertising coverage --- a potentially game-changing way for them to reach new customers both in Singapore and worldwide. The competition was launched with a video featuring Aston Villa F.C. players wishing Singapore a Happy Chinese New Year and sharing a special message for the SMBs of the city.

“Singapore is a bustling global hub of start-ups”, explained Brad Paterson, Vice President & Managing Director, Intuit Asia Pacific. “We are running this competition to celebrate small business success, and encourage Singapore’s entrepreneurs to share what they have learned. This city has a huge concentration of inspiration and practical knowledge for future entrepreneurs”.

The competition calls for Singapore’s SMBs to share their most compelling success story as well as advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The competition is open until February 29th, and the winner will be announced on March 4th. The competition will be open to any Singapore-registered SMB. In addition to the ad space, the winners will also receive two tickets to watch Aston Villa play Chelsea, which is where their ad will be played. The winners will be flown from Singapore to London, and accommodated and toured around the city while they are there. On their return, Intuit will provide marketing dollars and free consultation to take their business to the next level.

Intuit expects participation from a wide range of businesses. “We are seeing excitement from all sorts of businesses getting involved. From corner shop kopi-shops to boutique cupcake stores, heartland IT consultancies through to shipping solution providers”, shared Brad.
