Developers seen to benefit from locked-in presales

They can also gain momentum from asset recycling.

Ahead of the release of results from real estate players, CIMB analyst Lock Mun Yee said developers will continue to benefit from profit recognition from locked-in presales in Singapore and overseas operations.

More so, capital recycling from asset sales and purchases should provide additional earnings momentum to these players.

"We expect investors to continue to focus on the pace and cost of land bank replenishment," the two analysts said.

Meanwhile, the capital recycling and corporate exercises will deploy balance sheet capacity to drive share price performances for these players.
