HDB resale prices slip by 2.8% in September

A total of 1,504 units were resold.

Declining by 11.6% since its peak in April 2013, HDB resale prices dropped by 0.4% compared to last month.

According to data from SRX Property, resale prices of 3, 4 and 5-room flats went down by 0.1%, 0.6% and 1.1% respectively. HDB executive flat resale went up by 1%.

Meanwhile, resale volume is on an uptrend with a 3.9% increase compared to 1,447 transacted units last month. Year-on-year, resale volume increased by 2.4%.

“Resale volume is down 58.8% compared to its peak of 3,649 units in May 2010,” the report said.
