Marble producer Terratech Group joins Catalist

It has a market cap of $141m.

Singapore Exchange today welcomed the listing of Terratech Group Limited on Catalist under the stock code “40I”.

Terratech Group is engaged in the business of quarrying and production of premium-quality marble blocks in Kelantan, Malaysia. It also sells marble and marble products. Marble is the common name for a group of mineral rocks.

According to Terratech CEO Loh Chang Kaan, “As a listed company, it provides us with a platform to accelerate our commercial production, and helps to boost our profile and raise awareness among our potential customer base. In the near future, we plan to venture into the calcium carbonate powder production business and may explore strategic acquisitions of additional stone quarries.”

The listing of Terratech Group, with an estimated market capitalisation of $141 million, brings the total number of SGX-listed MOG companies to 22 with total market capitalization of $5.5 billion.
