Pteris Global joins the Catalist after reverse takeover

It will trade under the stock code UD3.

Singapore Exchange yesterday welcomed the listing of Pteris Global Limited on Catalist following a reverse takeover of Mainboard-listed Pteris Global by Shenzhen CIMC-Tianda Airport Support Ltd.

With the completion of this transaction, the company has expanded its service and product offerings from airport logistics systems for the handling of baggage and air cargo and the manufacture of airport ground support equipment, to become one of the world’s largest suppliers of passenger boarding bridges.

According to Li Yin Hui non-executive Chairman of the Group, “The Group is now the world’s largest supplier of passenger boarding bridges and a leading global integrated airport logistics solutions provider. We now have the capability and international network to offer a wide range of products and services to customers globally. Moving forward, we’ll continue to leverage on our enlarged capabilities and clear growth plans to augment our market position, and to achieve growth for our shareholders.”

The listing of Pteris Global brings the total number of SGX-listed companies in the transportation services industry to 16 with a combined market capitalisation of more than S$19 billion.
