Singapore Airlines Group’s passenger volume soars 43.5% YoY in August
SIA and Scoot carried around three million passengers during the month.
Singapore Airlines Group (SIA Group) saw a 43.5% uptick in its passenger volume in August, carrying 2.99 million passengers last month.
Apart from passenger volume, its group passenger capacity also increased in August by 26.3% YoY.
The airline group’s passenger load factor (PLF) also increased, rising by 2.8 percentage points (pp) YoY to 88.2%.
Meanwhile, the group’s cargo businesses reported positive volume growth, with total cargo and mail carried rising 3.7% YoY to 76.4 million kilograms (kg).
On the flip side, the cargo load factor fell by 3.0 pp to 51.2%.
