Lian Beng's net profit up 7.1% to $136m in FY15

Thanks to higher construction revenue.

Construction group Lian Beng reported that its net profit grew 7.1% year-on-year to $136m in FY15.

The growth was mainly due to profit from construction and dormitory segments, higher fair value gain on investment properties and share of profits from associates and joint ventures

Revenue improved 9.4% to S$747.0 million mainly due to higher revenue recognition from the on-going and new construction projects.
