Construction Group subsidiary wins contract for building energy logistics hub

It will build a facility that will achieve sustainable certifications.

The SB Procurement Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Soilbuild Construction Group, has been awarded a contract for the building of a sustainable and energy-efficient logistics facility in Singapore.

The facility will have sustainability certifications such as Green Mark Platinum, Green Mark Zero Energy,  Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold, and LEED Zero Carbon.

Meanwhile, Precast Concrete Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Soilbuild, won tenders for the supply and delivery of precast components to Housing and Development Board public housing projects in Tampines, Woodlands, Bishan, and Choa Chu Kang, Singapore.

The contracts will begin in the third quarter of 2023 and will be finished by the second quarter of 2025.

The aggregated value of the contracts is over $118.7m. This brings the Group’s order book to about $693.0m (based on order book as of end December 2022 and including new contracts secured since).
