CSE Global's 1Q24 orders reach $186.2m

The new orders for 1Q24 was 16.7% higher year-on-year.

CSE Global posts a 16.7% YoY growth in new orders, securing $186.2m in 1Q24 driven by stronger demand for electrification and automation solutions in the infrastructure and energy industries.

In the same period, its automation segment soared 65.4% to $51.8m from $31.3m a year ago. This growth was mainly driven by a surge in orders related to waste treatment centre expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

Its electrification segment also grew 6% to $82.9m, representing 44.5% of total order intake due to a strong pipeline of electrification projects.

Order intake was highest from the energy industry at $95m, followed by infrastructure at $75.6m, and mining and minerals at $15.6m.

The new orders brought CSE's net order book to a total of $719.3m.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
