Singapore Space Tech Limited (SSTL) has announced the launch of Project Cyclotron in this year’s Global Space and Technology Convention (GSTC) in Singapore.

The programme will provide regional space and deep tech startups with insights, skill sets, and resources to become commercially viable.

The initiative is launched in collaboration with Cap Vista, the strategic investment arm of Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA).

Starting from 6 February, the programme will take in 10 companies and applications.

Singapore-based deep tech firm Dathena expands operations in the United States with the official opening of its New York headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

The launch of the office was meant to grow and support existing North American customers, according to a press statement.

The US headquarters will primarily focus on the financial and healthcare sectors.

The company plans to hire a local team of 15 people across sales, customer success and marketing functions.

Singapore-based venture builder and early-stage venture capital firm Antler announced that it has raised investments, with UK-based asset manager Schroders, Norwegian firm Ferd, and FinTech Collective participating in the funding.

The firm did not disclose the amount of the new investment but revealed that it has raised the total funds it secured over the past six months to more than $103.9m ($75m).

In January, the firm raised $67.4m (US$50m) from investors including Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, Elaine Saverin, and Norwegian investor Christen Sveeas via Kistefos.

Antler had launched funds across Amsterdam, London, New York, Stockholm, Sydney, Nairobi, and Singapore.
