Lendlease appoints new managing director in China

Ding will oversee the growth of the firm’s business in China.

Lendlease has appointed Hui Ding as its managing director of its China operations, according to an announcement. He will be part of the Asia Leadership Team and will report directly to Tony Lombardo, CEO of Asia.

Hui Ding is formerly the managing director of IKEA Centres China since August 2008. Prior to joining IKEA, Ding’s career spanned across several multinational corporations in China including PepsiCo Food China, American Standard China and Philips Lighting.

He brings in over 25 years of industry experience in real estate, financial management and general management.

He will oversee the growth of the Lendlease’s business in China, including Ardor Gardens, Lendlease's flagship senior living development in Qingpu district, Shanghai.
