Pan Pacific Hotels Group, a global hospitality company, was awarded the prestigious Team of the Year in the Hospitality & Leisure category at the SBR Management Excellence Awards 2023, solidifying its industry leadership. 

The awards programme recognised the Pan Pacific Hotels Group's dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences, fostering teamwork, and setting new benchmarks in the hospitality sector.

With the travel surge, Pan Pacific Hotels Group's Sales and Marketing led the way in responding to the demands. They initiated a year-long series of sales and marketing initiatives, which included digital, social, and traditional media efforts, along with events to connect with clients. The launch leveraged the exciting openings of their flagship hotels to usher in a new era for their three brands: Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION, and PARKROYAL.

They elevated their three brands by opening new, iconic properties that redefined the hospitality landscape. The group aimed to establish itself as a global player in the hospitality industry. Through a combination of hotel openings, immersive brand experiences, and impactful digital campaigns, Pan Pacific Hotels Group aimed to capture the attention of travellers worldwide, offering unique and authentic experiences under each brand.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group's strategy involved collaboration across departments such as Sales, Brands, Communications, Social, and Digital Marketing. They executed a calendar of campaigns to showcase their hotels and strengthen connections with stakeholders. Key initiatives included Customer Connections Week events held in various cities to reconnect with clients and partners. Additionally, the group expanded its global presence through participation in renowned industry events like ILTM Cannes and ITB Berlin. These efforts aimed to enhance global awareness of Asian hospitality and establish a stronger foothold in key markets.

The company demonstrated remarkable accomplishments. Notably, in the Pan Pacific brand, the grand opening of Pan Pacific Orchard introduced an opulent oasis in Singapore, gaining global attention and reinforcing the city's reputation as a "City in Nature" destination. The refurbishment of Pan Pacific Singapore with an investment of $30 million raised the bar for "Graceful Luxury." It attracted international high-profile clients, enhancing Singapore's allure as a sports hub. In PARKROYAL COLLECTION and PARKROYAL, media events launched brand experiences and sustainable hospitality. These campaigns collectively garnered a PR value of more than SGD 770,000, with a reach of more than 93 million. These accomplishments showcased the group's commitment to redefining the hospitality landscape and capturing the attention of a broad audience.

Further, PPHG achieved impressive statistics with almost a 75% increase in revenue through direct bookings on panpacific.com and nearly 80% more leads due to their successful global Customer Connections Week events, Year-to-Date October 2023.
