SECB and JETRO will work together to enhance international outreach for MICE events hosted in Singapore.

The Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau (SECB) and Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Singapore signed a three-year Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) aimed at accelerating growth in the business events sector and deepening economic collaboration between Singapore and Japan.

Under the agreement, SECB and JETRO will work together to enhance international outreach for MICE events hosted in Singapore and support greater participation by Japanese companies.

They will also collaborate on raising industry standards through knowledge exchange in areas such as sustainability, productivity, and digital innovation.

JETRO also reaffirmed its ongoing participation in major Singapore-based trade shows, including the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology, as a key platform for connecting Japanese companies with regional partners.
