Set to kick into effect on 1 July until 31 March 2023, the PSG grant can offset up to 70% of out-of-pocket training expenses incurred.

Companies will need to submit their training plans via the Business Grants Portal, for evaluation and approval by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). They can also choose from a list of more than 2,000 approved courses that are aligned with the Skills Frameworks developed by SSG, together with employers, industry partners, trade associations and chambers, unions and lead agencies.

The agency has also curated a list of suggested training programmes for more than 20 sectors.

In addition, SSG is working with intermediaries to drive the adoption of SkillsFuture initiatives and training amongst SMEs. Such partnerships will involve co-creation of training curricula or work-learn programmes, workplace learning and skills solutions and co-development of customised skills solutions.
