HP appoints Colin Png as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing in Asia Pacific and Japan

Png will be reporting to Dave Shirk, senior vice president of HP Enterprise Marketing worldwide.

Png will be responsible for creating awareness for the Instant-On Enterprise and HP solutions offerings, while leading key strategic enterprise marketing initiatives across the region. Based in Singapore, Png will report to Dave Shirk, senior vice president of HP Enterprise Marketing worldwide.

Png was previously vice president of marketing for SAP Asia Pacific and Japan where he established several best practices for customer insights and business planning for its portfolio of software and services.

He has also held a variety of regional leadership positions at Microsoft and Sybase. In his career he has pioneered key initiatives in building customer communities and developed innovative customer showcases across the region, with a focus on Singapore, China and India.

“Colin brings an impressive track record of customer focus and a deep understanding of enterprise needs in Asia Pacific and Japan,” said Shirk. “He will be instrumental in positioning the full value of HP to our clients as they seek to become Instant-On Enterprises.”

Png holds a Masters of Business Administration dual degree from INSEAD and Tsinghua University.
