Lion Asiapac appoints Chua Siew Kiat as independent director

He is currently the managing director of Ban Seng Guan Sdn Bhd.

The board, having considered his qualifications and working experiences, is of the view that he has requisite capabilities to assume the responsibilities as an independent director of the company. Accordingly, the board concurred with the recommendation of the nominating committee and approved his appointment to the board and board committees.

He is currently the managing director of Ban Seng Guan Sdn Bhd, which is involved in trading and distribution of fertilizer and feed products. Prior to joining BSG in 1996, he held senior engineering positions in several engineering and consulting companies in the defence and automotive industries in the USA.
