Mak Chi Shing steps down as China Fibretech's senior finance manager

The company stopped paying his salary.


Mr. Mak, 34, was informed by Zhang Dufang, finance manager of Shishi Simwa Knitting and Dyeing Co., a subsidiary of China Fibretech, that the Company will stop paying his salary from May 1, 2017 without advance notice and any reason. It was said that the overdue April 2017 salary has not been paid to date.

The compensation claim payment on September 29, 2017 was approved by CEO and executive chairman Wu Xinhua and independent director Wu Dezhi in order to avoid further compensation. But it was done without the knowledge of Mr. Mak and without the knowledge or approval of independent director Low Wai Cheong.

Mr. Mak was appointed on April 4, 2014. He was responsible for overseeing the overall finance and accounting matters of the Group.
