ISDN trims stake in AR Robotics as Trinity and Soradynamics joins ownership

Trinity and Soradynamics will own 40% and 30% of AR Robotics, respectively.

ISDN Holdings has sold part of its subsidiary AR Robotics to Trinity One LT Limited and Soradynamics, Co., Ltd., whilst keeping a 30% stake, the company said on 21 April.

The deal leaves 30% to ISDN, whilst Trinity and Soradynamics will own 40% and 30% of AR Robotics, respectively, ISDN said in a statement.

ISDN will provide $1.0m in seed funding, along with manufacturing expertise and access to its Asia sales network.

The partnership brings together Trinity’s funding and business development support with Soradynamics’ robotics and AI technology,  ISDN said.

AR Robotics is building a drone-based robotics and AI platform for uses such as inspection, firefighting, delivery, and surveillance.

It has an early contract pipeline of about $12.74m (USD10m) and is testing its video fusion technology with agencies in Singapore.

The company plans to focus first on Asia Pacific, before expanding into Europe and the United States. ISDN said global supply chain changes are increasing demand for robotics alternatives outside China.
