Vertex Venture issues new redeemable preference shares

The funds raised will be used for investments in Vertex’s captive and network funds.

Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd has issued a $637,000 US dollar Class A redeemable preference shares at US$100 each and 100,000 Singapore dollar Class A redeemable preference shares, each priced at US$100 and S$100. 

The total raised amounts to US$63.7m and S$10m. The issuance was made to an existing holder of U.S.$ Class A RPS and S.$ Class A RPS, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited. 

The funds raised from this issuance will be allocated to investment commitments in Vertex’s captive and/or network funds.

Following this issuance, the total amount of issued and paid-up Class A RPS will increase from US$141.4m to US$205.1m and from S$20.1m to S$30.1m

The newly issued U.S.$ Class A RPS and S.$ Class A RPS will have the same rights and rank equally with the existing preference shares of the same class.
