URA releases three residential sites

Residential sites at Flora Drive, Woodlands Avenue 2 / Rosewood Drive and Hillview Avenue had been released for sale today.

According to URA, The land parcels at Flora Drive and Woodlands Avenue 2 / Rosewood Drive are launched for sale under the Confirmed List of the 1st half 2011 Government Land Sales Programme while the site at Hillview Avenue is placed under the Reserve List for application for sale.

Earlier this month, the Housing & Development Board (HDB) had also released a private residential site at Sengkang Square / Compassvale Drive for sale via the Reserve List.

Together, these four residential sites can potentially yield about 1,885 housing units. These sites are well-distributed across the island, namely in the west, north, north-east and east regions and will provide developers and home-buyers with more choice.

Land Parcel at Flora Drive

With a site area of about 2.68 ha, the land parcel will have a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 37,545 sqm and can potentially yield about 380 housing units.

The land parcel at Flora Drive is located in the east region of Singapore and within an established residential estate in Pasir Ris. It is also well-connected to the rest of the island via the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and the East Coast Parkway (ECP).

Land Parcel at Woodlands Avenue 2 / Rosewood Drive

With a site area of about 2.74 ha, the land parcel will have a maximum permissible GFA of 38,333 sqm and can potentially yield about 390 housing units.

The land parcel is situated within an established residential estate in the northern part of Singapore, near to schools such as Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Sports School and Singapore American School. It is well connected to major arterial roads and expressways such as the SLE which provides convenient access to all parts of the island.

Land Parcel at Hillview Avenue

With a site area of about 1.26 ha, the land parcel will have a maximum permissible GFA of 35,416 sqm and can potentially yield about 405 housing units.

The land parcel is situated within an established residential estate in the west region of Singapore. Located near to the future Cashew and Hillview MRT Stations, which are part of the future Downtown Line 2 (DTL2) Mass Rapid Transit system, future residents of the proposed residential development on site will enjoy convenient public access to all parts of the island. The DTL2, which is connected to key precincts in the city centre including Bugis, Marina Bay and Chinatown, is scheduled for completion in 2015.
