Two Sheng Siong supermarkets to open in 4Q

Bedok North 115 Supermarket and Yishun Central Supermarket to commence operations.

These openings bring up the total of operating Sheng Siong stores to 31 with an aggregate retail area of approximately 391,000 square feet,

Sheng Siong Supermarket Pte. Ltd., a whollyowned subsidiary of the Sheng Shiong Group, has entered into lease agreements for both supermarkets.

On 13 August 2012, the group struck a lease agreement with the Housing & Development Board of Singapore, in relation to the premises located at Block 115 Bedok North Road for its Bedok North 115 Supermarket.

Meanwhile, on 15 August 2012, it ironed a separate lease agreement with an independent third party, in relation to the premises located at Block 925 Yishun Central 1 for its Yishun Central Supermarket.
