Singaporeans opt for gifts and outings on Mother's Day

Four in 10 picked gift-giving as an ideal way to mark the special day.

Retailers may anticipate a significant boost in sales this May, with Singaporeans regarding gift-giving (48%) as the most ideal way to celebrate Mother's Day.

This belief is most evident amongst Gen Zs (65%) and Gen X (49%).

Apart from giving gifts, Singaporeans also consider arranging an outing or vacation (46%) as an ideal way to celebrate Mother's Day.

Some prefer to arrange a spa or other wellness activity (21%), whilst others op to give flower bouquets (28%) and cards (26%) to mark the special day.
