Authorities release China COSCO ship impounded in Singapore

Following a financial dispute with a client, a China COSCO dry bulk vessel was returned after almost a week.

A Reuters report said the 74,000-tonne bulk carrier, Song Shan Hai, was released by Singapore's Supreme Court after China COSCO provided information stating that the other company had broken the contract.

COSCO, according to the report, remained in talks with its unidentified client over an unpaid bill of around $1 million.
