SingPost's Group CEO resigns
*Singapore Post Limited announced that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Mr Wilson Tan as Group Chief Executive Officer. Mr Tan, who is leaving SingPost to pursue other opportunities, will step down as Director of the SingPost Board.
Mr Tan said: “It is gratifying to see SingPost develop from strength to strength and indeed to be part of its exciting transformational journey. The postal and logistics landscape has been evolving in tandem with changes in customers’ lifestyles and SingPost has been adapting and reinventing itself to stay relevant to its customers.” SingPost has since initiated a search for a new GCEO to lead the Group in its next phase of sustainability and growth.
Said SingPost’s Chairman Mr Lim Ho Kee: “On behalf of the SingPost Board, I wish to register our appreciation to Wilson for his invaluable contributions and leadership, especially under the difficult and challenging environment of the past year. The Board and Management wish him well for his future endeavours.”
*The Singapore Business Review apologizes for a mistake in the earlier headline:"Singtel's Group CEO resigns". We would like to clarify that it is the SingPost Group CEO that has resigned.
