He chose to step down at the age of 81 pursuant to Section 153 of the Companies Act, Chapter 50.
Hong Fok Corp announced the retirement of Jackson Lee as lead independent director.
Mr Lee was also chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, and a member of the Nominating Committee and the Renumeration Committee, according to a Hong Fok Corp report.
He was appointed to the position on 1 April 1976.
