Two Singaporeans grab spots in Forbes' 100 most powerful women
SingTel's and Temasek's CEOs ranked 74th and 76th.
According to Forbes' newest list, Angela Markel, Chancellor from Germany, ranked number one. Hillary Clinton of the United States came in second, while Dilma Rousseff, Brazil's president, came in third. The rest of the top 10 included Melinda Gates (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), Jill Abramson (New York Times), Sonia Gandhi (Indian National Congress), Michelle Obama (First Lady, US), Christine Lagarde (International Monetary Fund), Janet Napolitano (Department of Homeland Security, US) and Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook).
Chua Sock Koong, SingTel's CEO, and Ho Ching, Temasek's CEO, grabbed 74th and 76th places respectively.
Celebrities J.K Rowling, Gisele Bundchen, Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga, Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Ellen DeGeneres, Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara also ranked in the list.
