Singapore tourist arrivals hit lowest record YTD in April

The number of visitors fell to 1.36 million.

Tourist arrivals dropped to 1.36 million in April from 1.48 million in March, marking the lowest record year-to-date. 

Singapore had several events in March, including Taylor Swift’s six-day concert.

On a year-on-year comparison, the April figure rose 20.1%.

Data from Singapore Tourism Board showed that Indonesia was the top source of visitor arrivals in Singapore in April at 243,890, followed by China with 220,440 visitors and India with 106,190.

In April, visitors stayed in Singapore for 3.41 days on average.
