Grey Group Singapore secures creative duties from ESPN

Grey Group strengthens relationship with ESPN STAR Sports by accepting regional assignment for ESPN HD and ESPN Player.

The company has been assigned the regional creative duties for ESPN STAR Sports’ two new offerings – ESPN HD and ESPN Player.

ESPN HD is Asia’s first 24-hour sports channel showcasing sports content and action in a format which enhances viewers’ overall experience, while ESPN Player is an online sports television service that will provide sports fans with a wide variety of content to choose from and will give them an opportunity to watch live sports and on an on-demand basis, according to a Grey Group Singapore report.

The move extends Grey Group Singapore’s relationship with ESPN STAR Sports further to the agency’s win of the ESPNEWS account in South East Asia last year.

Grey Group Singapore was awarded the two additional accounts without a pitch. Through-the-line campaigns developed by the agency are targeted for concurrent launch in July, first rolling out in Singapore, followed by other markets in Asia.

The agency currently handles creative duties for the ESPN, STAR Sports and ESPNEWS brands.
